Summer Solstice Rite

Saturday, June 19 at 1 pm

Via Zoom (We’ll post the Zoom link the morning of the rite)

This ritual will honor Manannan Mac Lir as our deity of occasion.

Manx tradition says that Summer Solstice is the time of year to pay the rent to Manannan Mac Lir for the land he watches over.  Offerings can include flowers, herbs, whiskey, beer, etc.

Additionally, we will be honoring the Sun in all of its summer glory.

Offerings to the Sun may include fruit, flowers, your favorite summery things, etc.  Offerings may also be simply words of praise or your silent acknowledgement.
