Samhain High Day ritual

Join us for our Samhain High Day ritual. This will be a Roman-based ritual dedicated to all types of Ancestors. Feel free to bring a few pictures or items that represent your Ancestors for the altar. Because this is Roman-based, the liturgists will be wearing head coverings. If you would like to wear one as well, you may, but it is not required. Appropriate offerings would be anything you think your ancestors may have liked. Flowers, special food, small handmade tokens, etc…

Because the rite will be held at Friends, no alcohol is allowed, even as offerings! Please respect their space. Due to time constraints, we will not have a feast afterward, but please bring snacks to share.

Sassafras Grove is collecting pet food for Animal Friends’ Chow Wagon. If you can, please consider bringing a package of cat or dog food (canned or dry), cat litter, food/water bowls, treats, or toys for donation to the Program. Donations must be new and unopened. Chow Wagon serves over 1000 local families by distributing food and toys through food pantries.

Our rites and events are free and open to the community, but we do rely on the monetary donations of those who are able to defray the cost of space rental and ritual supplies. Support your local Druids! Tickets will also be available for our Brighid Blanket raffle, so bring some extra cash if you’d like a chance to win this gorgeous, handmade item.
